Website Terms of Use
Effective October 26, 2026.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
By using therealempirecompany.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Who We Are
The Site is operated by THE EMPIRE COMPANY LLC, a California limited liability company ("Empire," "we," "us"), through its Authorized Representative, Inka Mushaba.
3. No Professional, Advisory, Brokerage, or Client Relationship
Browsing the Site, submitting an inquiry, or contacting us does not, by itself, create a client, advisory, agency, or brokerage relationship, and does not obligate Empire to perform any service. A professional or client relationship is formed only through a separate written agreement signed by both parties (for example, a consulting agreement, statement of work, or LaunchPad website-development agreement).
4. Service and Professional-Scope Disclaimer
The Empire Company provides organizational, documentation, research, operational-analysis, systems-design, implementation, website, and strategic-support services. Empire does not provide legal, tax, accounting, medical, investment-advisory, brokerage, or other licensed professional advice or representation.
5. Pricing and Billing
Prices shown on the Site are typical ranges unless a fixed price is stated. Final pricing depends on scope, record volume, urgency, complexity, and the condition of information provided. Exact scope, deliverables, and fees for any engagement are defined in writing before work begins.
LaunchPad and Care Plan
LaunchPad website packages (Launch Site, Standard Site) are one-time project fees billed under a separate written agreement before work begins. The optional LaunchPad Care Plan is a recurring monthly service; its billing frequency, start date, and cancellation process are confirmed with you directly, in writing, before your first charge. The Care Plan is optional and begins only after the client approves the service and recurring terms in writing. Cancellation may be requested by email and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Before Empire offers the Care Plan as a self-service online sign-up with automatic recurring billing, we will update this section to include the additional disclosures California’s Automatic Renewal Law requires for that kind of enrollment (clear renewal terms, affirmative consent, an acknowledgment you can keep, annual reminders, and an online cancellation method matching the sign-up method).
6. Intellectual Property
The Site, including its text, graphics, logos, the Empire name and marks, and overall design, is owned by Empire or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and download Site content for your own personal or internal business evaluation of Empire’s services. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or create derivative works from Site content for any other purpose without our prior written permission.
7. No Guarantee of Results
Content on the Site is informational and describes Empire’s services generally. Nothing on the Site is a guarantee of any particular business, legal, financial, real-estate, or operational outcome. Results depend on the specifics of each engagement.
8. Third-Party Links
The Site links to third-party destinations, including Instagram and PayPal. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those third-party sites. Visiting them is at your own discretion and subject to their own terms.
9. Prohibited Conduct
- Using the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Attempting to interfere with, disable, or overburden the Site or its hosting infrastructure.
- Scraping, harvesting, or automated collection of Site content without our permission.
- Impersonating Empire, its representatives, or any other person.
- Uploading or transmitting anything harmful (such as malware) through the Site.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Empire and its representatives will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under California law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Empire and its representatives harmless from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
